29 Years of Dance, Community, and Connection
For nearly three decades, Dance Expressions has welcomed dancers from Hackettstown and the surrounding communities. Many families stay with us for years, and some have shared the experience across generations.
We've had the privilege of watching dancers grow from their very first class through some of their most memorable moments on stage. Those moments, both big and small, are what make Dance Expressions so special.
We believe dance is about more than learning steps. The lessons learned in the studio often stay with our dancers long after they leave the stage. Frequently Asked Questions
How much does tuition cost?
Our Rising Stars program is $49 per month. First Steps classes are $77 per month for 45 minutes, and all other classes are $79 per month for a full 60 minutes of instruction each week.
We also offer multi class and sibling discounts.

Are parents allowed to watch classes?
Families are invited into the studio space during our monthly Parent Pop-In Week, giving parents the opportunity to see what their dancer has been working on in class and celebrate their progress throughout the season.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes! We offer complimentary trial classes so your dancer can experience the class, meet the instructor, and see if it's the right fit. We want both dancers and parents to feel comfortable before making a commitment, and a trial class is a great way to get a feel for our studio.
How can my child join the competition team?
Our competition team is by invitation rather than open enrollment. Throughout the season, instructors get to know dancers in class and observe their growth, dedication, work ethic, and readiness for the additional commitment that competition dance requires.
Competition dance is a rewarding experience, but it also involves extra rehearsals, performances, and travel. When a dancer is ready, our instructors will discuss the opportunity with the family.
Can we tour the studio?
Absolutely! We love welcoming prospective families to the studio. A visit is the perfect opportunity to see our studio in action and get a feel for who we are.
